At Kernaghan Adjusters, we try to simplify the process of reporting claims. Any time of the day, 365 days a year, claims can be assigned directly by phone, fax, e-mail or through our Report a Claim Online feature.

Telephone 1.800.387.LOSS (5677) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for prompt service in the area closest to your claim site and you will always speak directly with an adjuster for your loss assignment.

Report a Claim Online Our Report a Claim Online feature allows registered clients to immediately assign claims over the Internet. Registered clients, click the Report a Claim button below to load a form where you can enter the details of your claim. Once filled in, the submit button will send your claim directly for assignment, and you'll also receive a copy.

View your claim with our secure web-based management system

At Kernaghan Adjusters we are simplifying communication with our clients through access to KEA, our secure web-based claims management system.

KEA VIEW is our client viewer, providing access to our adjusters' file notes, reports, photographs and claim financials. Our interactive email functionality provides smooth communication with the adjuster.

Our security meets some of the highest standards in web application. We use 128 bit encryption and secure socket layer (SSL). Authorized access to our system through role-based security provides a separation between critical confidential information and also allows us to isolate specific files when confidentiality issues arise.

Our robust claims system allows simplifies management reporting both for our internal use and client convenience. The architecture provides scalability and ease of maintainability, allowing enhancements to the system on a regular basis to meet our internal and client needs quickly.

Real-Time, Web-Based Claims Management

Kernaghan Electronic Adjusting, or KEA, is Kernaghan Adjusters' real-time, web-based claims management system. KEA is a secure, innovative, proprietary system that allows our team of adjusters to instantly review claims from anywhere on the planet. Using leading edge technology, this complete, enterprise-wide business solution enables us to efficiently process a high volume of claims while maintaining our stringent professional standards.

KEA is of great benefit to not only our adjusters, but also our customers. Through our KEA VIEW technology, our clients can access the same file notes, reports and other claim file data in our system that our adjusters can, helping to facilitate communication. And since KEA is programmed with compatibility in mind, data from our system can be exported into Microsoft Word/Access/Excel, XML, and/or Business Objects' Crystal Reports formats depending on the client's needs. KEA also enables us to increase the level of service we are able to provide to our customers by allowing us to monitor the following:

  • That all new claim assignments are acknowledged within twenty four hours.
  • The reserve and payment activity on the file during the course of the claim.
  • That claim reports are issued on time.
  • The duration for which a file remains open.
  • Accuracy of time and expense tracking to ensure sound billing practices.
  • The progress of the claim through the adjuster’s file notes.
  • Numerous quality control management reports.
