Leann Hathaway’s insurance career began in September 1981, in the claims department of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.  When she left ICBC in 1988, Leann’s specialties included auto bodily injury investigations and settlements, and physical damage claims.

Leann joined Kernaghan Adjusters in 1989 as the Flin Flon Branch Manager.  She handles claims throughout Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan, often travelling to remote locations under hazardous conditions.  Her expansive territory has helped her develop a broad base of experience in claims adjusting.  Leann's adjusting expertise includes automobile, bodily injury, heavy equipment, commercial, personal property, business interruption, and general liability.

She is a C.I.P. (Chartered Insurance Professional), Past Chairperson of the Insurance Adjusters Council of Manitoba, and member of the Administrative Council of the Insurance Council of Manitoba, and has a Licentiate Certificate in Adjusting from the Canadian Insurance Adjusters Association, and is also a member of the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association. Along with courses in Business Administration, Leann continues to update her insurance knowledge through various industry seminars and courses.
