Marja Welton has enjoyed over 25 years as an insurance adjuster in the Calgary area. She began her adjusting career in 1973 with an international property/casualty insurer in Calgary, and in 1985 she entered the independent adjusting field. Kernaghan Adjusters was pleased to have Marja join our Calgary branch in January 1990, and in March of that year to promote her to the position of Branch Manager.

In 2003 Marja became KA’s Alberta Regional Manager, with responsibilities throughout the province. In addition to her management responsibilities, Marja adjusts all types of losses, with special expertise in the fields of pharmaceutical malpractice, large residential property, auto and bodily injury, commercial property, casualty and liability claims.

Marja’s technical strengths in the area of bodily injury claims and the handling of difficult auto losses has been a recognized benefit to our clients, as has her successful participation in the arbitration of disputed claims.

Marja obtained her C.I.P. (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation with the Insurance Institute of Canada. She is a member of the Alberta Adjusters Association and the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association.
