It is a great pleasure to announce that Scott Hughes BA, CPA, CMA has joined Kernaghan Adjusters in the position of Director of Finance.  Scott’s wealth of knowledge from his over 25-year financial career, will help create opportunities for efficiency throughout Kernaghan Adjusters.

Scott’s past roles have included the CFO and Controller position for a chemical manufacturing firm in Calgary, and Controller for an engineering firm in Vancouver.  His experience includes managing accounting and finance departments, IT departments, overseeing HR program administration and implementing accounting systems in both large and medium sized companies.

Scott’s past employers describe him as collaborative and open, very solid, easy going and intelligent.  His working style is thoughtful and deliberative, and he is characterized as someone you can trust, a seasoned professional.

Scott has a Certified Management Accounting Designation, a Chartered Professional Accounting designation and a BA majoring in Economics.
