Owen Watson began his career in the insurance industry in 2005 as a claims examiner at a well-known Canadian insurer. As an examiner, he adjusted a variety of claims from minor property damage losses to multimillion dollar fires.

In 2012, Owen decided to leave behind the Canadian insurance market and carve out a new niche for himself in London, England. While working abroad, Owen gained invaluable Lloyd’s experience at QBE where he worked alongside International Property, Casualty and Marine and Energy departments to manage a global portfolio of third party administrators and coverholders.

Owen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill university, a CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada and an Award in London Market Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (London, UK).

Owen Watson joined Kernaghan Adjusters as our London Services Manager in 2017. In late 2018 his role extended to Director, Specialty Markets.  His new expanded role as Vice President BC Operations will focus on the entire BC market.  He will work with our BC Team and BC clients whose operations stretch out both nationally and globally.
